At the invitation of Ontario's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, CBCC's President Sean Hu spoke at the press conference of the Ontario Government on Feb 5, 2007 announcing the establishment of the new Ontario's International Marketing Centre in Beijing. Mr. Hu commends the Ontario Government on its decision to open the second office in China and believes that the new office in Beijing will be successful in promoting Ontario's exports to China and the CBCC and its members will work closely with this office.
Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Trade Sandra Pupatello and Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Mike Colle announced that three new Ontario international marketing centres will be co-located within the Canadian Embassies in Paris, Mexico City and Beijing.
